Steps
- Determine if your phone can create a WiFi access point. If you don't know the answer to that question, you're gonna do a search for Android-telephones with access points and add your phone model number, and you need to find out fast if your phone can be a access point.
- Download, find and launch your Hot Spot app. Follow the instructions on the screen to build an access point (almost there's always an extra monthly fee you have to accept).
- Choose "start tethering" in your annex. Your phone just became a WiFi access point!
Make sure your Wi-Fi card is on your laptop or desktop computer. Sometimes it's a button, someone's got a software switch (usually it's in a three-way Windows instrument panel). You can also check it in Control Panel - Networking.- Update wireless networks.
You should see the name "Android Phone" or "Android Tether" on your wireless list. - Connect the network.- Androids are like any other WiFi connection.
- Open your beloved browser and enjoy the surf wherever you have cell phone services!
